Week 19 Update

Well the realization that the year was over 1/3 complete really kicked some of the motivation into high gear.  Between that and some amazing late spring/early summer weather, many of the outside goals started to really gain momentum.  The boys and I went to three parks in a single morning and had a blast.  The garden is as good as it has been since moving to Raleigh.

In other news, I’m late in planning my trip to Europe.  I need to get cracking on this if it is going to happen.  So many decisions and oh so many dollars.  We’ll see what we can do on the topic – the scope of the trip might need a bit of trimming.

One final note on the week - the "Navy" showers really aren't that bad provided you are either sweating from energy or the room is warm.  These are adding up quickly.

Anyway – on to the updates.

Physical
#5 –1,497 miles – Despite no long rides, got in almost 90 miles this week.  Not too shabby
#6 – 5,260.  Closing the gap on when I fell behind.

Mental
#14 - 5 Love Languages - You should read this book - great topic to think about and change how you interact with people.
#16 - So much for progress here.  I know I met new people this week, but not only do I not remember their name, I can't even remember who I met.  Egads!

Relationships
#21 - The boys and I had a great week as mentioned above.  On Sunday we visited North Cary Park, Hillside Park, and Forest Hills Park.  We started by playing in sand and finished rinsing at the splash park.  Not too shabby.
#26 - The boys and I are nearly halfway to the 500 book target.  Hooray!

Environmental
#28 - Four more Navy showers this week bringing the total to 10.  Still behind on pace, but gaining speed..
#30 - Back on the wagon with just a 1/2 lb on the week.
#32 - Almost to 2 lbs of veggies before the cucumbers and zucchini start.

Miscellaneous
     #35 - Up to 15 posts.
      #36 - 11 cleanings - still need more
#39 - This one may already be complete, but I'm going for 40 hours of shows.  On Saturday, I did the "marathon" and was in all three shows.  What absolute fun!
